Can I request a specific star? Yes! Browse the universe with Your Star Forever's navigation tool until you find the perfect star. Find it, Zoom in on it, then Click on it! An order form will pop up on the left hand side of your screen and you'll be on your way to purchasing the exact star you want.
What if I messed up the order form? Log into your account and click on customize to edit the content you're hoping to change. However... the star cannot be redelivered if the scheduled deliver has already been sent.
Are there restrictions on what pictures, personal messages, or YouTube videos I can attach to my star? Your Star Forever understands passionate romance BUT let's try to keep star content PG13.
When naming a star: Initially, the chosen star will be named after the person you're dedicating it to, but while continuing through the order form process, you can rename the star whatever you like. Your Star Forever requests that no obscene or vulgar language be used. Beyond that, the sky is the limit.
Can I password protect the message on my dedicated star? Absolutely! Whether you are quietly planning a steamy fireside rendezvous, or wanting to holler your affection from the rooftop, click on an available star and follow the directions within your order form to choose your desired specifications.
What is your policy on refunds? Once a star is dedicated on Your Star Forever, the dedication it is filed within StarDedicationArchives.org's online database. Unfortunately, because of our agreement with the Star Naming Archives, we cannot provide any refunds.
What methods of payment do you accept? Your Star Forever processes all payments through Stripe. Stripe accepts all major credit cards and does not require you to create an account to purchase a star.
Is my dedicated star internationally recognized? Dedicating a star through Your Star Forever provides unique access to proclaim your love in the sky. However, it is not possible, at this time, to purchase the name of, or rename, any star so that the dedicated name is recognized by any scientific or governmental agency. The International Astronomical Union (IAU - http://www.iau.org) is the only body that can officially name a star. And the IAU uses only one internationally recognized system to identify the stars in the sky – either by using preexisting names or by using their precise numerical coordinates. FYI – no one can sell you the rights to officially or exclusively name a star. The IAU does not allow it!
How can I find the star I purchased in the sky? Your Star Forever provides you with the exact coordinates designated by the IAU. Use these coordinates, a telescope, and some hot chocolate to create an unforgettable date! FYI – some of our stars can even be seen with the naked eye.
